Surgeon Custom

The Surgeon Short Round Actions are crafted from high-grade stainless steel and built on the state of the art CNC machines to offer the best, most consistent actions on the market. Features include a one-piece bolt, raceways, and bolt bore cut with wire EDM and a side mounted bolt stop. It also has a .25” double pinned recoil lug.

We’ll use a Krieger barrel. Krieger Barrels, Inc. manufactures precision single-point cut-rifled barrels for the best target and custom rifle builders in the world.

We’ll utilize a Surgeon RSR 20MOA rail which is superbly made with steel construction in a 20 MOA design. The RSR 20 MOA Scope Rail Mount is drilled and tapped for four #8-36 tpi scope mount screws and two 1/8-inch dowel pins to assist in perfect alignment of the scope mount.

We’ll use Surgeon bottom metal with a five round box magazine. Performance features include a low-profile ambidextrous magazine release and beveled mag well to help ensure fast, positive mag changes. All exterior edges are rounded or beveled to eliminate sharpness that can abrade the hand or snag on sling, vegetation, or clothing. Precision machined from extra-strong 7075 T6 aluminum billet, hard coat anodized for additional surface strength and corrosion resistance, with a matte black finish. Comes with a smooth-feeding Accuracy International 5-round magazine with rugged steel body, self-lubricating polymer follower, and tempered steel spring (additional magazines available separately). The bottom metal includes two .625" O.D. aluminum bedding pillars and ¼"-28 tpi cap screws for ultra-secure installation.

This will include a Manners Stock, a MCS-GAT, MCS-T, MCS-T1, MCS-T2, MCS-T3 or MCS-T4. An adjustable cheek piece is available as well at an additional cost.

The package will be finished off with a Timney trigger, which provides a light, clean break to help you get the best possible accuracy. The new safety design blocks the trigger, not the sear. The 3⁄8" wide, grooved trigger improves feel and control. The trigger is adjustable from 1½ - 4 lb.

The rifle will be coated with Duracoat in the color of your choice.

Now for the good part. The complete price for this custom Surgeon rifle will be  $2950 plus shipping to your FFL. Add a hard case for $50 or a rotomolded water tight, air tight wheeled case with custom contoured foam for $200.
